The efficiency of the magnetic separation macroparticles vacuum-arc coating systems

Abstract

The possibility of transportation of the MP through a magnetic separator due to their capture by the electric field generated by the negative space charge. It is shown that under the condition of existence of space charge in the plasma duct interact positively charged particulates and negative space charge, resulting in a possible retention of particulate inside duct. We obtain the conditions under which transportation of the macroparticles through the magnetic separator occurs
