The editorial policy of "Scientific Herald of Uzhhorod University. Series "Physics"  is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; obligatory peer review of articles; collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors; strict compliance with copyright and related rights. The main criterion in the selection of materials for publication is their originality and relevance of ideas, the scientific and factual reliability of the presented material.

The purpose of "Scientific Herald of Uzhhorod University. Series “Physics” is an exchange of scientific information, the results of basic and applied research in the field of physics, focused on training specialists of academic and expert-analytical profiles.

The journal's mission:

• publication of scientific results on the expansion and modernisation of scientific studies in the national economy, the implementation of innovations in production;
• establishment of partnership relations with foreign scientific publishing organisations;
• enhancing the culture of peer review and annotation of the published materials;
• adherence to editorial ethics.

The journal publishes articles by members of today's Ukrainian scientific elite, graduate and postgraduate students, agricultural workers and civil servants, and academics from other countries.

The journal publishes materials on the following main areas: physics of condensed systems, nuclear physics, atomic and molecular physics, field theory and particle physics, astrophysics, physical electronics, applied physics, interdisciplinary physics and adjacent fields of science, technology, history of physics, chronicle, personalities, and bibliography.

Articles are accepted for consideration in strict compliance with the General requirements for the design of manuscripts. When selecting materials for publication, the editorial board pays special attention to originality, innovation, accuracy, the theoretical and practical significance of the results of the article.
