Description of form-changing α-PDHN alloy plate at additional saturation with hydrogen at 200°C

Issue 38, 2015

Abstract

The impact of the hydrogen initial content on the α-PdH0,0072 and α-PdH0,0144 alloy plate form change at one-side additional saturation with hydrogen composition was researched experimentally at 200 ºC. It was found that hydrogen contained initially in palladium impacts on the value of the maximum bending, on the time to achieve maximum bending, on the kinetics and magnitude of the residual stationary form-changing. It was shown that there was observed a strong influence of hydrogen content in the original plate for bending reaches its maximum which is significantly reduced compared with the curves, which are observed at saturation Pd-plate, initially containing no hydrogen

Keywords: palladium, hydrogen, form-change, hydrogen concentration stresses, gradient alloy
