The results of the research ways to improve the use of non-conventional method of proportional counter SI 5007 for measurements of high intensity radiation fields at the industrial technological radiation plant of INR NAS of Ukraine with electron accelerator are presented in the article. Dosimetric device that allow to obtain information in a wide range of intensities of measured fields is created by the inclusion of the sensor in reverse mode. Device is being used at the facility for research and technological dosimetry in research and development of new methods for qualification tests of important to safety equipment at nuclear power plants
